Megan Moll: Personally and Professionally Dedicated to Ag

Growing up on a farm taught her how to value hard work and hard-working people.

As a young girl, Megan Moll loved helping out on her family’s farm in central Michigan. She enjoyed working with the animals and driving the tractor while her dad and brothers baled hay. These experiences led Moll to choose a career in the ag industry.

“It wasn’t forced on me,” she says. “My dad inspired me to stick with agriculture, but I always wanted to help out on my own.”

Today, Moll, as a Golden Harvest® sales representative, helps farmers manage and grow their businesses.

Fourth Generation Farmer

Moll knows firsthand the dedication and hard work required in agriculture. Her great-grandfather came from Germany to start their family farm, and she has seen it continue to grow over the years under the management of her dad and brothers.

“Agriculture is being dedicated to something that is greater than what you are,” she says. “Our family helps feed our local community, and I work with people who go beyond that and help feed the world.”

Helping others is what inspires Moll to go to work every morning. In her current role, she supports the strong network of Golden Harvest independent Seed Advisors who sell Golden Harvest corn hybrids and soybean varieties.

“I’m not doing something that is just benefiting me,” she explains. “It’s benefiting so many other people, and it’s rewarding to have that much of an effect on people.”

Going the Extra Mile

As someone who works with many different people on a daily basis, Moll truly enjoys getting to know each and every one of them. She has found that maintaining strong relationships is not only rewarding for her, but also for her customers.

Moll’s career demonstrates how effective those relationships are. She started as an intern, and nothing has stopped her growth since then. For other young women considering a career in ag, Moll has a firm message: “If you want to go after it, go after it. Don’t let anything stop you.”
